The art style was so good, the story was fun to uncover, and it’s easily one of my favorite survival horror games. It’s easy enough to avoid enemies so i never was low on ammo or health, and felt free to explore without getting into a fight every minute. Awesome underrated game.

This game clearly had a low budget but i didnt even care. The levels were so fun and the whole game felt so nostalgic. I absolutely loved every minute of this game.
The story could have been a little more interesting. I didnt feel as rewarded for uncovering the mysteries of the town as i would have liked to. I think maybe the game just went on too long. But the characters and world this game builds are absolutely perfect. I felt like the main characters all reminded me of people I knew in real life, and it tackled real issues. I was a very big fan of this game even with my small critiques.
THIS GAME IS A 10/10 VR GAME AND IS SEVERELY UNDERRATED. This is the most gorgeous game I’ve ever played. Playing in controller mode doesn’t do it justice you HAVE to play in VR for the full experience. The puzzles are fun, the atmosphere is creepy, and the enemies are creepier. But it also has such an adorable charm and a beautiful story that makes this an easy 5 stars.
Paper Mario is a fantastic series, and TTYD takes the cake for best game in said series. The combat system is so fun. The characters and sidekicks are all adorable and charming. The bosses offered a decent challenge for a Nintendo game (at least for me). I am so glad it was ported to the switch, i couldnt believe how it was impossible to play anywhere else besides on og hardware. A must play.
A horror game that i feel can only be played properly one time. It’s so long but it’s so worth it. So easy to lose track of time and such fun unique levels. I loved each character’s introduction areas and learning all their lore before they became part of the roster. Both side gamemodes were horrifying. Amazing game. Wish there was more honestly.
This was my real entry into the series. Technically I had played 7 and 8 first but it was way earlier and i took them more as a standalone duo. I tried playing this in VR at first and i was too scared to make any progress past the first boss. Im so glad that I later came back to give it a proper try. Ive since played all modern RE games and cant wait for Code Veronica Remake.
I dont really even have to say anything but I will. I dont play this game much anymore, but i think thats because ive grown up to the point of needing more out of a video game, but thats not minecraft’s fault. Im happy to come back for each 2 week phase. This game holds so many memories. Good and bad. This game is perfect and has always been there when we needed it.
This game deserves its praise, it’s a great game with a great story, but I definitely have some complaints. The music feels so incredibly out of place and it takes me out of the immersion of the game in seconds. The music itself is fine but I hate how it intrudes on the game’s atmosphere. I also felt as though some of the sections were incredibly long and repetitive. There was so much clear symbolism but I dont think EVERYTHING had to be a metaphor for something. I didnt love the combat either. For a game that clearly makes you save your bullets and heals for when they count, they sure throw a lot of enemies at you. I do love this game’s atmosphere, and the characters you meet along the way as you uncover more about the creepy town. Very glad I gave it a chance.
This game is so sick. More scary desktop games yes please. The puzzles require such out of the box thinking so every time I solved one I felt like a genius. There were definitely some that stumped me though. The story was dark and I loved the atmosphere it created. This is an underrated gem.
I love scary desktop games, and I knew this one was going to be good since I love Inscryption (discovered this after). Some of the puzzles were pretty tough but eventually I got the hang of it. I love these vibes, but it was definitely very simple and couldve been expanded on. Luckily the sequel has been announced and I cannot wait.
I feel like Cosmonious High is just as good as Job/Vacation simulator but i tend to forget all about it for some reason. The game was so charming each character had a unique personality, and I loved every second of the game. I would love to replay this honestly.
Im addicted to the gameplay loop. As frustrating as losing a run can be, I was always excited to keep playing and to see how the next run went. I loved every second of the first act, having no idea what was to come. Realizing there was so much game left felt like such a reward.
This is my favorite take on creature collection in a game. I genuinely wanted to see and collect each Bugsnak as opposed to just getting the ones i need like i would in other games. Super fun art style and great music, and the characters had so much personality. Adorable game!
This was my intro to metroidvanias and is what ultimately got me into games like Hollow Knight. The art style is super cute but also gorgeous and atmospheric. It was genuinely creepy at times and every puzzle solve was super rewarding. I would have loved more in the way of combat but I still love the game for what it does offer.
This game does everything the first does right and more. I wasnt a fan of the tool system at first but i grew to love it as i got better equipment. Even some of the toughest bosses were extremely fun looking back. The combat and movement felt so much smoother than the first game. Hornet has so much personality I was so happy to see her dialogue in game.
This was one of my first metroidvanias and I loved it. I was skeptical at first being fairly new to the genre, but i quickly fell in love. It’s so charming, and i love how challenging it is. The charm system is super fun to utilize and strategize when struggling on a tough boss. The music and enviroments are so beautiful and immersive.
This game is just Undertale 2.0. Same iconic music, a fresh and memorable cast of characters + all the Undertale classics. So far chapters 1-5 have been super immersive and interesting story wise. It leaves me wanting so much more.
My favorite game of all time. The gameplay is so fun. The atmosphere is incredible. The music is legendary. I’ve never felt so attached to so many characters in a Zelda game, and it’s my favorite franchise. Everybody praised OoT and rightfully so, but I think Twilight Princess is like the more mature and evolved version of OoT. The boss fights are super fun, and the villains are genuinely menacing.
This game is super unique. The environment is beautiful. I love huge boss fights, however, I do wish there was more reason to explore and stuff to do between bosses. Least Favorite Bosses: 11 and 14, which I know are famously annoying, but finally experiencing it for myself was kind of brutal. These guys need to be programmed to at least give you a second to get up before they charge at you again. Favorite Bosses: 12 and 13. Beautifully designed fights, with unique mechanics compared to others in the game. Would happily revisit and fight again.
