See all reviews of Animal Well →This was my intro to metroidvanias and is what ultimately got me into games like Hollow Knight. The art style is super cute but also gorgeous and atmospheric. It was genuinely creepy at times and every puzzle solve was super rewarding. I would have loved more in the way of combat but I still love the game for what it does offer.
