Five Nights at Freddy's: Secret of the Mimic

I know people have criticized the direction FNAF had headed in, but I absolutely love these kinds of horror games where you go through this big facility or area and get through different sections of it to progress. More iconic characters introduced at least in my opinion, and I thought this was another great free roam game. The mimic is a really cool concept and I loved learning the lore behind it.

Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach

This game was awesome. I don’t really know what the general opinion of it is, but I really really enjoyed it. Sun/Moon is such a good character. Free roam FNAF was something I wanted for a long time, and this may not have been the way I had expected it to be executed but it was great. Maybe something I’ll replay in the future but it still feels fresh in my mind years later so I probably won’t replay any time soon. Vanny was creepy and weird but I was into it.

FNaF World

I don’t know why Scott Cawthon disowns this game, it’s literally so fun. I love trying to get all the characters, and I think the art style is great. The glitchy weird moments are super cool and remind you it’s not just a cute fun game. I wish this game had more love.

Ultimate Custom Night

This game can be super fun. It can also be really challenging. The console controls make it so changing cameras also change the music box song, so it’s kind of impossible to play with Chica at all unless you don’t plan on using the cameras at all. I had a bunch of fun playing this for a while, but it definitely can get old. Shouldve had smash bros esque dlc additions for all the new characters. I would’ve been interested in that.

Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator

I was never able to properly get into this game. I think it left us with some iconic characters and moments in the series, and everyone says that this game is where the series should have ended. I don’t think it should have ended there because the newer games are bad, but I think it should’ve ended there because the monologue at the end was probably one of the best endings in any game. I may come back to this game at some point, but it was never calling out to me.

Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location

This game is so good, but this is where my ratings start to separate from the original 4 games. Each night was completely different, and the characters had brand new personalities and vibes. I loved having a game with more of a progression than just the same process over and over but increasingly difficult. This game was so colorful yet super creepy and unsettling. There is one thing keeping this from getting a higher score though. The minireenas. Screw that. Never replaying this game purely because I refuse to do the minireenas again. That is all.

Five Nights at Freddy's 4

I think the atmosphere of this game is incredible. I think the 8bit sections add so much depth to the game that some of the previous ones were lacking (I’m aware they also had some 8bit sections but there’s way more to the ones in 4). My only problem with this game was the difficulty. I had an extremely hard time getting through this game in fact I don’t think I ever actually got past the second night. Major skill issue, I know, but it was rough. If the game had a camera mechanic as opposed to relying on audio, this game would be even higher rated for me. But the audio mechanic really got me messed up. One of my favorite FNAF games despite the difficulty, it’s just too good atmospherically.

Five Nights at Freddy's 3

This is my favorite OG FNAF game. The difficulty was brought down significantly, probably because there’s only one animatronic. But this game is packed with so much more lore than the others at least from what I remember. Its very important to the story and I love the environment. This one is way easier to find a strategy and stick to it throughout the game.

Five Nights at Freddy's 2

If I had to choose between 1 and 2, I’d pick 2 all the way. I much preferred the gameplay and the range of characters. It’s another one that was much easier in Help Wanted, and I had a tough time adjusting. Obviously that’s just a skill issue though. Still not something I’d go back and revisit because it’s the kind of game you get the gist of and don’t really need to keep playing after completing it.

Five Nights at Freddy's

I’m giving this a 3 because the series has come so far and has become so much better, but the original is such a classic. My first FNAF game was Help Wanted, which is significantly easier than the original games, and so I had a bit of trouble adjusting. This one wasn’t the worst but it’s not a very stimulating horror game. In my personal opinion, it just doesn’t hold up because of how in depth the series has gone beyond it. Still a good game though, just not something i plan to revisit.

Mouthwashing

I thought this game was so great. Very creepy and disturbing at times. There was only like one puzzle where I had zero idea what I was supposed to be doing. Other than that it was awesome and I loved the vibes. Telling the story out of order was super interesting but I absolutely ate it up.

Operation: Tango

This game was super fun. I love these kinds of games where you need to combine your brainpower and the information you both have to work together and complete a task. The level design was great and the puzzles were really unique. Great game!

The Outlast Trials

This game is terrifying, and this game is also extremely fun. Somehow the repeated game modes didn’t get old once. I keep thinking I did everything there was to do and then I load the game back up and there’s plenty of new content. Such a good horror game and an even better multiplayer experience.

Bad Cheese

I didn’t know what to expect from this game but I was pleasantly surprised. I thought the story of it was dark and interesting, and the gameplay and visuals were pretty fun. It got really trippy and weird by the end which I really enjoyed. Even if I lost track of what was going on it was super cool. I think I beat it in one sitting, I definitely wish there was more to it.

Ready or Not

I was really excited about this game I thought it looked really cool and super realistic. I was super disappointed after playing a couple games that it is extremely repetitive, and also just not even close to as polished as I was expecting. It was insanely buggy (friend and I spent literal hours looking for the last guy in multiple rounds), and it just wasn’t very fun after a little bit. Very disappointing and I have no interest in going back.

The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes

This game is incredibly fun, and the outfit system is super unique and I love it. So why did I give this game 3 stars? Because this game is unplayable without two other people. The singleplayer mode is extremely boring I don’t even know if it’s possible to solve certain puzzles when you don’t have other people there. I wish it was easier to find people to play with. It really is an underrated gem in the series.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD

This one is one of my favorite Zelda games. I loved the Wii version but I loved the HD version even more. Youd think controlling a sword with a joystick would be weird but it felt surprisingly natural. A lot of people complain about the backtracking in this game but I loved going back to each main area to explore a new section of it using newly acquired abilities or items. Such a good game with such good characters and music.

Big Walk

Every solved puzzle felt so rewarding, my friend and I played this and absolutely loved every second of it. This game required such good teamwork and sometimes out of the box thinking and we nailed it every time. Love this game I hope it gets dlc or something in the future.

Outer Wilds

This game is one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve ever had. Every step closer to solving a puzzle feels like a eureka moment. I get led down constant rabbit holes that just lead me to deeper and more mysterious rabbit holes. This game’s ending is just as beautiful as people say it is. I may not have cried. But I felt something. I can’t say much about this game other than to play it for yourself and see what awaits you in the vastness of space. Learn things, remember things, try new things. The universe is, and we are.

Resident Evil 3

I know everyone hates this game because it cut too much content out from the original, but as someone who hasn’t played the OG I can say that I really enjoyed this game. It was obviously very short and I wish there was more to it, but it was still good. Could’ve probably just been resident evil 2 dlc lol. Still great and I think worth playing.
