Iron Nest: Heavy Turret Simulator

Hands down, one if the coolest games I’ve ever played. It’s like battleship, but you control the “battleship”, but it’s not a battleship, its giant fucking turret with a living quarters and a fucking cat. (Mine has blue eyes that stare into my soul as commit war crimes) How to fire a turret: 0. Find the target (thats a whole separate tutorial) 1. Determine what shell the job needs 2. Calculate the explosive force and trajectory based on the distance of the target 3. Load shell 4. Load powder charges 5. Rotate turret to the direction of the target 6. Still reading? Buy the game! Hearing that theres plans for multiplayer in the future and I’m so excited for it.

Vein

Fun so far. It’s like 3D Project Zomboid. It’s built with Unreal Engine so it requires a beefy PC to play which isn’t ideal. Aside from that, it’s made by only 2 people so I’ll cut some of the bugs some slack. There’s definitely a few hours of fun to be had in this game.

Deadlock

It’s fun, more fun to me than the usual MOBA. There’s a LOT to figure out in terms of how to play the characters, what items do what, and learning the movement is a pain to learn, but once you’re 100 hours in, I guess it gets easier?

Factorio

Crash land on a planet just to ruin the planet by building a rocket to get off, then suddenly ruining other planets is your hobby (with the space age dlc)

Vintage Story

Might be my new favorite game, I love it so far will update. 🤞 Minecraft: “cook logs to make charcoal” Vintage Story: “dig a hole, fill it with wood planks, light it on fire, cover the hole air tight” This game literally has you craft tools yourself by deleting tiny voxels. I feel like the reward is so much better as you progress because you look around and every piece of equipment you own has a story.
