Bayonetta 3

Its an ugly, pale imitation of the first two games. Its too long, too shallow and an all around disappointment that I regret playing twice. Two times too many. The green toothpaste enemies suck to fight (the classic enemies are sprinkled in small numbers throughout the game as if to taunt you with what could have been). The secret agent mini games are a supreme waste of time I believe were put in to inflate the time on a playthrough. The moves you unlock for weapons and monsters are all very samey. You unlock nothing as fun or unique as breakdance from Bayo 1. Not-Bayo Punk Girl is clunky to play with. If their goal was A Virgil or Nero they really missed the mark. She is annoying and unfun to control. The game is a blurry mess on Switch 1. SPOILERS FOR THE CRAPPY STORY The story for these games have always been nonsense but the characters have always been consistent in the first two games. Bayo 3 betrays Bayo by making her hook up with the stalker comic relief, killing her off and then replacing her with a crappy punk girl. Basically the final hour of the game is a really bad topper on a very sub standard game. I despise this game. If a Bayo 4 ever happens I hope it completely ignores that this game ever existed.
